Learn to unlock career success secrets during free WNC seminar featured at Carson City campus

Join Carson Tahoe Health’s Human Resources experts for the “Enhancing Career Success” seminar hosted by Western Nevada College’s Career Services on Wednesday, April 16, at The Link located on the Carson City campus.

This free interactive seminar is ideal for students and job seekers and a great opportunity to hear directly from HR professionals who review resumés and conduct interviews daily.

“I encourage everyone to take advantage of our new Career Services resource. Events such as the Enhancing Career Success workshop will not only assist our students but help community members improve their own professional careers,” said WNC President Dr. J. Kyle Dalpe.

In this one-hour interactive event that starts at noon, you’ll discover the essential components of a standout résumé, master interpersonal communication skills for professional success and build a cohesive professional brand to enhance your career prospects.

The seminar is open to students, alumni and community members interested in advancing their careers. Space is limited so register as soon as possible. Register by 5 p.m. on April 11 by going here.

The Link, WNC’s new Career Services resource on the Carson City campus, unofficially opened in March with a Career Fair attended by many local businesses. It’s intended as a central hub for career development and employer networking on campus, facilitating career connections and community engagement for students. Whether you’re exploring careers or actively applying for employment, The Link is in place to help you take the next step.
