Leadership and management workshops offered – Pine and Lakes Echo Journal

Central Lakes College Workforce Solutions announces the return of a dynamic and comprehensive workshop series, “Leadership and Management in the 22nd Century.”

This four-part series will kick off in January 2025 and is designed to empower participants with essential leadership and management skills, focusing on strategies to inspire and lead teams effectively.

This is a hands-on, cohort-style series. By combining theory with practical exercises, the series will enable participants to build their leadership capacities, improve decision-making and drive team performance in alignment with organizational goals.

The series is a partnership between Workforce Solutions and the North Central Small Business Development Center, who work to help small businesses start, grow and succeed.

“In today’s rapidly evolving landscape, the demand for visionary leaders and adept managers has never been greater,” Katie Heppner, regional director of the North Central SBDC, said in a news release. “Whether you are a seasoned manager, an emerging leader or someone aspiring to make a meaningful impact, this series will provide the tools and inspiration to help you elevate your leadership skills and enhance your management style.”

“Leadership and Management for the 22nd Century” will be a practical and productive learning experience. During the series, each participant will complete a CliftonStrengths for Leaders assessment; a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion assessment; a leadership development plan; an employee engagement plan; and a change roadmap.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of “Pineandlakes Echo Journal.” Often, the “Pineandlakes Echo Journal” byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
