AArete makes raft of leadership appointments

AArete, a Chicago-headquartered management and technology consulting firm, has promoted Maulik Bhagat to senior managing director, hired Faheem Zuberi as a managing director, and promoted Michael Cavanagh, Evan Ling, and Matt Semetulskis to managing director.

Maulik Bhagat (EVP and senior managing director) oversees consulting services in profitability improvement, digital and technology, and strategy and change for healthcare, public sector, and financial services clients. He has 20+ years of experience delivering operational and strategy consulting for Fortune 1000 companies.

Faheem Zuberi (managing director) joined AArete in December and has 30 years of experience driving impact in the healthcare, insurance, and financial services sectors. He specializes in helping clients achieve cost savings, enhance customer satisfaction, mitigate operational risks, and optimize performance.

Michael Cavanagh (managing director) has over a decade of experience advising health plans in the US on cost management, performance analytics, provider network development, medical claims payment accuracy, and operational process improvement.

Evan Ling (managing director) has more than a decade of experience advising clients in healthcare, financial services, technology, transportation, and retail. He specializes in cost and operational improvement, procurement enhancement, and technology innovation.

Matt Semetulskis (managing director) has 10+ years of experience advising healthcare payer clients on operational improvement and cost management, with expertise in payment integrity, value-based care, utilization management, and medical management.
